Margaret River

Accommodation

Margaret River is outrageously beautiful. Coastline, vineyards, bush, kangaroos.

It is also enormous.

So while you absolutely can book a dreamy cabin on the other side of the region, just know that ‘nearby’ in WA terms can mean a 40-minute drive - and they don’t do Uber.

For the wedding weekend, we’d love you to stay in or around our suggested areas - especially if you’re planning to make the most of the on-the-night transport.

You’re of course free spirits and can stay wherever you like. But, if you book somewhere wildly remote, we cannot guarantee four wheels to take you home.

And for our international friends: Australian maps lie. Things that look ‘close’ are not close. This is a big, beautiful part of the world.

Our Suggested Spots

Booking early is wise. The good news? We’re outside school holidays, so it should be a little kinder on availability and pricing.

Margaret River Town

The sweet spot. Walkable, relaxed, great coffee, wine bars, bakeries (shoes optional) and the iconic Settler’s Tav.

We’re hoping to organise a coach to and from the wedding from Margaret River Town on Saturday 13 February - so this is your best bet for maximum ease and minimal logistics.

Some lovely options include:

  • Margarets in Town
  • Vintages Accommodation – Clean, modern and right in the middle of everything.
  • Margaret River Resort – Slightly bigger, great for groups.
  • Stay Margaret River – Relaxed and reliable.
  • AirBnBs in town

Prevelly

Beachside, barefoot energy. If you like the sound of morning swims and salty hair (but with shops and cafes a short drive away) this is your zone.

It’s about 10 minutes from town and 20 minutes from the wedding venue, and close to the ocean.

Options here include:

  • Surfpoint Resort – Casual and coastal.
  • Sea & Soul Beachside Apartments
  • Prevelly Villas
  • Or a beach house AirBnB or private rental
